A Week of Stabilizing what serves life

Lunar-Solar Atmosphere | Full moon week & Lunar eclipse energy

This year's full moon week of Pisces Season arrives at a total lunar eclipse on Tuesday morning. Let's break it down step by step.

Full moons turn us inward — toward what stabilizes our growth from the inside out, from the roots and systems of security and support. At this particular full moon, the world has just erupted into war, feeding uncertainty.

With Virgo ruling this full moon, we may feel a pull to secure our holistic systems of life. Virgo helps us create containers that serve rather than control life — but when we feel insecure, our Virgo side can lose sight of this, reaching instead for control. It constricts the systems we've organized with endless refinement, relentless critique, and spinning wheels over details that ultimately don't matter in the larger picture. On the other hand, when our Virgo side focuses on what creates and sustains nourishment and stability, it finds organizing principles that genuinely help us feel grounded. Think prepared, not scared.

In this uncertain moment, what we can do to feel nourished is to tend to what is real and right in front of us. Use Virgo's energy to make something certain in your life feel more flourishing and productive. Clean out the closets. Plan meals that are healthy and satisfying. Tend to your day-to-day rituals and routines with softness. Care for what is maturing and naturally deepening, and gently weed out what no longer adds a sense of thriving.

And as a side note — just to be prepared — attend to a few simple things that would help should our systems of life face disruption. Store some water, canned food, batteries. Not out of reactivity, not because the end of the world is here, but as sensible readiness for any possibility, including a natural disaster. What is realistic within your time and budget? Use Virgo to organize what's real and in front of you first, then turn toward preparedness for possibilities that may never come. Doing so will make your Virgo, life-serving, organizing side feel considerably more secure.

An eclipse occurs when a new or full moon takes place around the same time the moon is crossing the ecliptic. These crossing points are shown in an astrology chart through the lunar nodes, which shift approximately 30 degrees every year and a half. The nodes are currently intersecting the Virgo-Pisces axis — the axis of purpose and meaning.

Whether the eclipse falls on the north or south node matters greatly. The north node marks where the moon crosses the ecliptic in an upward trajectory, indicating where growth and hunger are consuming what is ending and dissolving. The south node marks where the moon crosses in a downward trajectory — the place of edits, purging, and karma. In myth, the north node is the hungry mouth of the dragon, and the south node is its tail, where it releases what it no longer needs. Currently, the north node — the dragon's mouth, the place of endings and beginnings — is in Pisces, while the south node, with its edits and karma, is in Virgo.

The Virgo full moon arrives as a south node eclipse. This signals a moment of cause and effect, a reckoning with what is no longer productive. We are looking in the mirror at this Virgo eclipse, feeling into our sustainable systems of serving life. What is not stable? What is not creating nourishing conditions? How are we — or how are our greater systems — serving life in ways that control it rather than support it? What previous actions have contributed to constriction and disorganization? It is time to look in the mirror so that we can dig into the roots and refine, with honesty, what is and isn't working in our life-sustaining systems.

As we move into the latter half of the week, we will find more heart and courage to mature our lives, directing our energy outward and toward fruitful outcomes in Pisces' season of dreams, shadows, and healing.

* As a reminder, Mercury is currently in retrograde. This is a better time for gathering feedback and making thoughtful tweaks to plans, projects, and ideas already in motion than for launching entirely new efforts.

Journey With the Moon | Remember Who You Are

While lunar phases help us ride the ebb and flow of the solar season, the Moon — independent of the Sun — holds its own quiet, reflective cycle around somatic knowing. To sink more deeply into memory, feeling, and intuition, follow the current Lunar Journey: The Memoirist's Journey.

We now move through the Aquarius New Moon Journey (February 17 – March 17, 2026), a cycle devoted to processing the felt sense of hope, the future, and the beautiful tension between individual genius and collective flourishing. Mars enters Pisces

Our archetype of action-taking is in need of healing. If you feel as though you cannot fully see a path forward, ask yourself whether you need a break — a genuine decompression — before moving on. Would letting the chaos of a changing world settle before taking your next steps actually be how you move forward? Is rest the very foundation of what comes next? This is the warrior who finds themselves in an ashram and discovers new spiritual meaning for their direction in life.

The current phase of Mars' Hero's Journey indicates we are finding our heart and elevating what we are protecting and fighting for. In Pisces, we find our warrior heart and our divinity through solitude and spiritual surrender.

Venus in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus (27° 49’)

The work between these two planets over the past year — and truly over the past seven years — has been about value and voice: how our hearts liberate to redefine what we adore and cultivate in life. In this approaching sextile, we are seeing into the hidden currents of power where unspoken agreements, intentional or not, have been obscuring what is truly free about our embodied trust. Our task is to witness what rises to the surface so that we can continue to shake off the overlays of power that have silenced us — or prevented us from recognizing the depth of our own voice at all.

Sun in Pisces trine Jupiter in Cancer (15° 08’)

With solar transits, I like to read for both the Sun and Earth — their opposing and balancing axis.

Jupiter and the Sun last conjoined in Cancer in June, imbuing our Pilgrim archetype with qualities of soulfulness, care, and intuition. In this approaching trine, we are finding the purpose and rhythm of this archetype alive within us — able to use our enriching perspectives with skill and instinct. Able to sense what is and isn't true about the narratives fed to us, and how those narratives shaped — or failed to shape — fertile foundations.

Jupiter and the Earth last conjoined in Cancer in January. Our embodied journey around perspectives of care — how we actually take a pilgrimage — is still in its incubation stage. Listen for mystery to guide you beyond what is known, toward avenues that promise growth and healing in how you can anchor and grow caring perspectives into the world.

Venus enters Aries

Our Heroine returns to the sign in which she began our current Heroine's Journey. We are on a journey to awaken the most authentic, clear, fierce, and brazen aspects of our voice. This is the heroine learning to give not a single thought to what others think of her. This is our inner worth realizing that we can win, confront others, and take up space with the best of them. This is our voice, learning to be bold and forthright.

In Venus' return to the seeding point, the journey does not end — we simply begin to see through our hearts. The so-called "beast" of putting ourselves first, taking up space, or being bold — the part of us we once locked away as inappropriate or quietly judged in others — is now seen and loved. Because we are beginning to claim this brazen piece of ourselves that we once disowned, we can also view those who have long owned and expressed that quality with greater heart and tenderness. Rather than judging their reckless or impulsive sides as uncouth, we see them as authentic, pioneering, and magnetic.

Notice what you start to love in others — and in yourself — that you once filed away in a more mental category, less human, and now recognize as beautifully, fully alive. We so often rush past the moments when we should stop and witness our own growth. This transit invites you to take it in, to be proud of yourself and others for what is ripening in how we value audacity — our own and each other's.

Sun conjunct (inferior/cazimi) Mercury in Pisces (16° 52’)

This moment kicks off a new Mercury — or Trickster's — Journey. We have learned a great deal over the past four months as our Trickster side navigated a journey rooted in Scorpio's power of association, communication, and community. We pushed into the Epstein files, unpacked unseen power networks, and witnessed how deeply certain communities and individuals have puppeted the world. We did not look away. We witnessed horrors, unbelievable agendas, and asked ever deeper questions.

Some of you may feel a sting of grief that this thread is coming to an end. Where is the justice? Who is being held accountable? Mercury's Trickster's Journey is not about justice — it is about information, about being in the know. Our Trickster has uprooted what it needed to for now. Prosecution requires forces beyond Mercury's reach, but we emerge armed with knowledge we did not previously have. And as a consolation: there will be one more Scorpio-themed Mercury Journey from November 4, 2026 to February 18, 2027 — one more round of digging up intelligence on hidden power and hidden truths.

For now, Mercury is being called toward a new agenda, into Pisces' nebulous seas. We are on water journeys for the next year, and this is our deepest water journey yet — into other realms, into consciousness itself. What communications are arriving from places we cannot quite touch? From beyond the reach of ordinary understanding? Aliens, angels, source — whatever language resonates for you — it is time to dive into ethereal waters where the mind finds certainty slippery at best.

Mercury is in detriment in Pisces, and so a full journey seeded from its undefined shores can feel overwhelming to the rational mind. Pisces also rules institutions such as prisons, hospitals, government, and universities — and equally, the arts, film, and mysticism. These are realms where complexity, chaos, isolation, healing, and shadow work press against the edges of our boundaries, one small step from either descending into madness or transcending an old limitation.

We may encounter minds unraveling in the months ahead. We may feel ourselves unraveling. Hang in there. On the other side of this journey, our minds find inspiration, connection with a new consciousness, and deep understanding born from having allowed themselves to dissolve what they once thought they knew.

On the practical side, our Trickster will be wading into complex information about immigration enforcement, prison systems, healthcare, and the art world. We will be poking at, playing tricks on, and rewiring our understanding of deeply complex issues — informing ourselves, using our words, commerce, and movement to push toward truth and transformation. It is going to be a nebulously wild ride, especially as the degree of this seed sits before the north node, where we are hungry, assertive, and ready to clear slates for entirely new ways of understanding and rewiring the complex corners of our world. Hang on.

Venus conjunct Neptune in Aries (1° 16’)

For the past 14 years, Venus and Neptune have conjoined — seeding their joint agendas — in Pisces, where beauty and value meet glamour and illusion. This will be their first of many meetings in Aries, and entirely new agendas are being born. Beauty, love, and justice will begin seeking dreams and art that are rawer and more real, more assertive and independent. This is trading high heels for combat boots, shimmery eye shadow for utilitarian war paint, a compassionate heart for a bold one. This is making our aesthetic dreams real rather than simply dreaming about them.

This is turning your Pinterest board and manifestation journal into reality. Put on some overalls, pick up your tools, and build your vision with your own hands. Make the coming year the first of many in which you act on your beautiful dreams rather than simply holding them.

Venus conjunct Saturn in Aries (2° 38’)

While Venus and Saturn are very different from one another, their shared agendas can generate tremendous value in our lives. Venus loves beauty, sensual pleasure, and material comfort. Saturn loves ambitious goals, careful planning, and the responsibility of building a lasting legacy. Venus doesn't always want to put in the work to actualize her longings — but she makes everything she touches more beautiful and pleasurable, something Saturn struggles with deeply. Saturn often holds the resources and access that Venus knows how to make more valuable. And Venus brings the affection, appreciation, and warmth that Saturn secretly craves in its innermost self.

When these two seed a new agenda together, we can ride the wave of initiating goals that are both valuable and beautiful. What do you want to build that is genuinely beautiful? What long-term goals need attention around self-worth, income, or aesthetics? What authority can you build around justice and advocacy?

For the past several years, Venus and Saturn's shared agenda — meeting in Pisces — has been about dissolving old value structures and outdated beauty constructs: building worth through art, mastering your mystical voice. Now, meeting in Aries, their shared purpose shifts toward action. Taking assertive steps toward long-term values and advocacy goals. Creating new value structures and new vocations. Identifying long-term income strategies. Setting goals around how to feel more alive in your own embodiment.

With Venus seeding back-to-back agendas with both Neptune and Saturn, there is a beautiful spillover between them, each influencing the other. Taken together as a trifecta: what beautiful dreams can you make long-term plans around — and then build yourself? The sky is the limit, as long as you are willing to do the legwork.
