A Week of Nebulous Swirls

Lunar-Solar Atmosphere | First Quarter Moon Week & the last days behind the north node’s endings
Monday opens with a spacious, unhurried quality as we drift through the last breath of the waxing crescent in Pisces Season — a lunar phase perfectly attuned to Pisces' own dissolving, boundless nature. When Luna glides into Gemini on Monday night, and ushers in the first quarter moon week, the season's more energized spring phase stirs to life. Yet the Sun still trails behind the north node, where eclipse season casts its long shadows of endings and quiet upheaval. And then, as if the cosmos needed one more flourish, Mercury stations retrograde on Wednesday morning — leaving the days from roughly Monday through Friday feeling beautifully, maddeningly swirly.
If there were ever a week designed for receiving rather than reaching, this is it. Let life move around you. Don't add your ripples to waters already restless. Force and urgency will only generate more static. Where you can, buy yourself time — "Let me get back to you on that" is a complete sentence this week. Allow Mercury to settle into its reverse rhythm, let the Sun cross its nodal threshold, let the chaos find its own elegant order.
Beneath all of this, the Moon carries an Aquarian current, and the first quarter week becomes a beautiful invitation to crystallize your inner reflections. This is a time to ask yourself what freedom truly feels like in your body, who you are when no one is shaping you, and how you might tend to your most liberated self. Let the signs Luna moves through be your guides: Gemini's bright, connective curiosity; Cancer's deep, nourishing remembrance; Leo's warm, radiant creative heart.
Journey With the Moon | Remember Who You Are
While lunar phases help us ride the ebb and flow of the solar season, the Moon — independent of the Sun — holds its own quiet, reflective cycle around somatic knowing. To sink more deeply into memory, feeling, and intuition, follow the current Lunar Journey: The Memoirist's Journey.
We now move through the Aquarius New Moon Journey (February 17 – March 17, 2026), a cycle devoted to processing the felt sense of hope, the future, and the beautiful tension between individual genius and collective flourishing. Mercury Stations Retrograde in Pisces (22° 34’)
A great ship turning in open water — that's the feeling of these days surrounding Mercury's station. Time seems to thicken, movement stills, and rushing anything feels both futile and unwise.
Mercury is in the final, reflective chapter of its Scorpio-themed journey: a season of excavation that began in mid-November, when we first began pulling back the surface to examine darker, more hidden currents of information and connection. Now, in Pisces, all of that unearthed material grows complex and luminous at once — chaotic, yes, but also clarifying. We begin to see what must be released, and in the releasing, feel the first stirrings of something genuinely new.
The degrees of Pisces Mercury traverses live before the north node, in the territory of beginnings. What we've uncovered is quietly seeding visions of different institutions, different art forms, different architectures of consciousness. Our inner Trickster has learned a profound lesson: true power is power shared — power that liberates rather than binds.

Rx, February 25 - March 20 (22° 34’ -> 8° 30’ Pisces) - Delays, rerouting, reconnecting, the beautiful tangle of redirected information and motion.
Midpoint of Rx on March 7th - A new Mercury journey seeds itself in Piscean energy, carrying through July.
Post-Rx shadow, March 20th - April 9th - Mercury in its cosmic reverie: spacious, dreamy, delightfully unmoored.

Mars in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus (27° 42’)
Not all squares are alike — this one is approaching, which carries a different quality than a separating square. Mars and Uranus last seeded their shared agenda in Taurus, lending Uranus the home-field advantage in this dynamic. Mars acts; Uranus disrupts in service of evolution. Together, they have been rattling loose everything that needed liberating around nature, the body, children, financial systems, beauty, and autonomy — shaking the very sense of what we value and why.
This approaching square marks the homecoming chapter of a journey that has unfolded in waves since Uranus entered Taurus in 2018. But this is the last one. Make it count. Integrate the rebel spirit you've cultivated. Refine the places where you've pushed against old patterns around nature, enculturation, and self-determination. Take powerful, purposeful action in service of what is true, humane, and worthy of protection.

Mercury conjunct Venus in Pisces (22° 15’)
When mind and heart meet, they set a shared course — and this conjunction does exactly that, planting a seed that will unfurl through early October. In Pisces, where Mercury finds itself out of its element and Venus flourishes in exaltation, the invitation is clear: let the heart lead. The mind may resist the uncertainty, may strain toward clarity and solid ground. But the heart knows how to breathe in open space, how to trust the current, how to find unity in the formless.
This seed asks for a surrender into compassionate, open-hearted thinking — a willingness to let things be unresolved long enough for something more beautiful to take shape. With this conjunction falling in front of the Pisces north node, something genuinely fresh and vital animates it, even within Pisces' vast, tender spaciousness. Trust the open field of mind and heart together. Let dreams and compassion be your navigation.
