Pluto, Neptune, Saturn, and Jupiter have already made their moves, and as summer unfolds, we’ll witness the final outer planet shift, as Uranus transitions from Taurus to Gemini. Plus, Saturn will station retrograde, moving back from its bold new home in Aries into the compassionate, introspective waters of Pisces, from September until next February.
Let’s break down the recent shifts. Pluto, our Underworld power-maker, has moved from Capricorn’s corporate dominance to Aquarius, where the focus now rests on the Power of the People. Neptune, the Mystical Dreamer, has shifted from Pisces’ otherworldly realms into Aries’ trailblazing energy. Saturn, the Structuring CEO, moved from navigating the intuitive, artistic waters of Pisces to Aries’ bold pioneering terrain. Meanwhile, Jupiter, our Wise Professor, has left Gemini’s local community-minded philosophies behind and is settling into Cancer, where its focus on deep, nurturing foundations will help us expand in soulful ways.
The Yearly Overview touches on many of these shifts, but you can also revisit Headlines of Spring for a deeper dive into the changes of the past quarter.
Now, read on for more about Uranus, the Rebel archetype, as it moves into colorful and community-loving Gemini, the implications of Saturn’s return to Pisces, where we might see a return of corporate meddling in government sectors, a preview of late summer's Eclipse Season, and some key dates you won’t want to miss. uranus IN gemini | Innovative Communities
From July 7 - November 8, 2025, Uranus dips its toe into Gemini.
It will then return to Taurus, where it’s been since 2018, to tie up some loose ends.
Uranus returns to Gemini more permanently on April 26, 2026, to stay until August 2032.
URANUS IN TAURUS: A REVIEW
It’s been a turbulent road with Uranus journeying through Taurus, the second sign of the zodiac. While I deeply admire Taurus energy—both in personal charts and my own—we all have Taurus ruling some corner of our lives, after all—it tends to polarize when it plays out on a societal scale. Uranus, the cosmic disruptor, thrives on innovation, upheaval, and kaleidoscopic shifts. Taurus, by contrast, seeks comfort, security, and moral clarity, often filtered through the cultural norms we’re raised in. Together, they’ve made for an uneasy and volatile pairing.
Uranus functions as a galvanizing force for collectives, and in Taurus, we’ve seen this energy magnetize voices rallying around deeply held values—sometimes with a stark, black-and-white moral lens. It’s no surprise that Uranus in Taurus has historically aligned with the rise of authoritarianism. The last time this transit occurred (1935–1942), fascist regimes took root under figures like Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin. Japan and Spain also leaned heavily into authoritarianism during that era.
Fast forward to today, and we’ve seen modern equivalents of galvanizing Taurus figures—Donald Trump (Taurus Midheaven), Candace Owens (Taurus Sun), and Joe Rogan (Taurus Rising)—amass influence by tapping into cultural and ideological polarization. Vladimir Putin’s 7th house Taurus, with Uranus hovering near his Jupiter, reflects potential conflicts driven by territorial possession and expansion. It’s possible that as Uranus exits Taurus, we may witness a weakening of certain entrenched power plays, including the Ukraine war.
This transit has also ignited fierce collective debate over Taurus themes like bodily autonomy and sexual identity—especially within LGBTQ+ rights. While progress has been made, the polarization has come at a steep cost. The culture wars spurred by religious ideology and initiatives like Project 2025 may start to cool as Uranus moves on—especially as we close out the transit next April. Fingers crossed.
URANUS IN GEMINI: A LOOK AHEAD
Let’s start with the sobering truth: Uranus in Gemini has a complicated history for the United States. Past transits have aligned with major conflicts—the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and World War II. In the U.S. Sibley chart, Gemini rules the 7th house of partnerships and adversaries. While this house can indicate conflict, it also carries the potential for peace-building, diplomacy, and reconciliation.
Each of those historical wars involved other significant transits, so Uranus in Gemini alone doesn’t signal inevitable global conflict. However, with several outer planets shifting, it’s worth keeping an eye on the broader picture. We may be more likely to see the rise of trade wars, information warfare, or battles over intellectual property than full-scale traditional wars.
But here's the light on the horizon: Uranus in Gemini ushers in a more dynamic, curious, and intellectually engaged collective atmosphere. Whereas Taurus tends to entrench and polarize, Gemini promotes multiplicity. It breaks monoliths into many moving pieces. We may witness an end to the entrenched two-party gridlock—not through consensus, but through fragmentation and diversification.
Gemini is driven by curiosity and thrives on learning, and Uranus here will likely bring a surge in educational innovation, communication tools, and AI-driven intelligence networks. Rather than a reduction in digital presence, we’ll likely see an amplification—particularly in how we engage with collective thinking and problem-solving.
Gemini also rules community, conversation, and grassroots organizing. Uranus, the rebel and innovator, will likely inspire bold new methods of community building, collaboration, and experimentation. If things become unstable, Uranus in Gemini will be the force rallying rebel collectives and designing new pathways forward. Creative energy will run high—and yes, I may be biased (my own chart leans Gemini-heavy), but I’m genuinely excited for what this shift may bring.
Gemini is more neighborly than Taurus, less concerned with possession and more interested in connection. I hope this bodes well for long-standing global tensions, such as the Israel-Palestine conflict. Perhaps localized, grassroots movements will emerge that humanize rather than polarize. Idealistic? Maybe. But Uranus in Gemini favors surprising solutions and breakthroughs from unexpected voices.
One cautionary note: media and information will continue to be tricky terrain. Gemini can spin circles around a point, and Uranus won’t hesitate to upend the status quo. Misinformation could swirl, but there’s also great potential for smarter, more triangulated truth-seeking—especially as Neptune moves into Aries, clearing some of the haze that has long clouded the digital realm.

Saturn RX returns to Pisces
A return to revise fluid structuring in the complex areas of art, institutions, and spirituality.
Saturn will return to Pisces for a short stint from September 1, 2025 - February 13, 2026
It will return to Aries from February 13 - April 12, 2028
Saturn entered Aries in May, signaling a bold new chapter, but its journey isn’t finished just yet. With unfinished business lingering in Pisces, Saturn—the cosmic CEO—will retrograde back into the final sign of the zodiac, creating a seismic sense of tension as it oscillates between the alpha and omega, the beginning and end of the zodiacal wheel.
As Saturn re-enters Pisces, it brings structure, discipline, and accountability to a realm that is fluid, mystical, and often difficult to define. In return, Pisces invites Saturn to expand its vision—to recognize that not all systems are linear, and that within apparent chaos, there can be deeply intelligent and often invisible architecture at work. It's a humbling exchange: Saturn attempts to impose order, while Pisces softens rigidity with a reminder that life is more symphonic than schematic.
This retrograde will likely spotlight a reckoning. Saturn’s return to Pisces could surface necessary revisions—particularly around the ways corporate power and technocratic forces (like DOGE and broader elements of corporate America) have inserted themselves into institutional systems. These systems—spiritual, artistic, humanitarian—are complex for good reason, and not easily reduced to business metrics or profit margins. Saturn may attempt one final assertion of control before its long departure in February 2026, but in doing so, it may also clear space for these diverse terrains to recompose themselves with greater integrity and adaptive intelligence.
While the motives behind corporate interference may not have been pure, Saturn’s presence could inadvertently aid in flushing out dysfunction and laying groundwork for new, more responsive structures. This coincides with the North Node’s passage through Pisces, a placement that inherently signals the threshold between endings and beginnings in our collective institutions. Saturn, ever the authority figure, couldn't resist stepping in to "manage" that transition, even if its methods leaned too far into authoritarian overreach.
There's an archetypal edge to all of this. The North Node—symbolically the head of the Ouroboros—is like a wrecking ball with visionary ambition. It can be ruthless, psychopathic even, in its willingness to demolish what no longer serves. Think of Saltburn as an allegory here: a tale of consuming what’s collapsing, and generating something new from the ashes. But this energy, while catalytic, doesn’t tend to stay in power. It’s too wild, too solitary. It brings transformation, but is often cast out after the fact, having played its necessary—if unsettling—role in evolution.
In this potent dance between dissolution and restructuring, Pisces reminds us that healing and creation often rise from the same mysterious waters. And Saturn, whether welcomed or not, helps ensure we build what’s next on sturdier, wiser ground.
Eclipse Season
Virgo Season is Eclipse Season
As we end summer, we are greeted with an eclipse season. As the north node traverses Pisces, our oceanic otherworldliness is facing and releasing shadows, leading to bold and fresh complex systems to re-compose. With the south node moving through fruitful and mature Virgo, we are editing life to be more productive and purposeful.
August 23:
Virgo New Moon (technically not an eclipse, but I still see it as approaching the threshold)
DO: Let go of superfluous weight, inefficiencies, and others whose purpose is taking them elsewhere. Organize, refine, and prioritize.
DON’T: Hoard, suffocate, or hold onto baggage, people, and projects. It’s time to let things you’ve grown stand more on their own.
September 7:
Pisces Total Lunar Eclipse
DO: Feel your emotions in order to let what’s dissolving, dissolve. Surrender, forgive, face shadows, and give yourself and others space to heal.
DON’T: Try to control outcomes, ignore patterns that are creating complicated, overwhelming issues, sheild yourself with ego, or think you know what’s best.
September 21:
Virgo Partial Solar Eclipse
DO: Lean into transitions. Accept where life has taken you. Grieve what has left your life. Look forward to a new chapter that reveals a more powerful version of you.
DON’T: Believe that you have been left behind (you are just starting a different kind of chapter). Cling to the past. Try to control what’s clearly grown out of needing you.
