For example, if you're a Gemini Sun, during Virgo Season the seasonal light brings awareness to your authority—it becomes visible and noticed. Likewise, someone with a Virgo Sun will tend to see a Gemini Sun as masterful or authoritative.

It works the same way with the Earth. A Gemini Sun has its Earth in Sagittarius. During Virgo Season, the seasonal Earth sits in Pisces, and that Pisces Earth experiences the Sagittarius Earth as masterful or focused. Someone who has a Pisces Earth may generally experience your Sagittarius Earth that way, too.

When comparing charts (synastry), you could explore all your planets against someone's Sun, Earth, or Rising chart—but for seasonal work, I like to stay with just the Sun and Earth: how you're being seen (Sun) and how you matter (Earth) during a season. This isn't growth work; there's nothing here for you to do. It simply offers insight into why, at certain times of year, you're generally seen and experienced in particular ways.

This can surface things others reflect back to you, or things they want from you. It's energy you naturally hold, so you'll receive what others notice about you—but also feel where you're being tugged on. You have natural gifts to offer each season that others may call on. It's up to you to discern when offering those gifts feels good and when you need to hold a boundary. With your Sun, it's about how your quality of awareness gets noticed, or others wanting your conscious gifts. With your Earth, it's more subconscious—others are drawn to experience your energy, or to experience things through/with you. You may also find you see others in a different quality of light and matter as the seasons change.

Below is a Sun and Earth chart for each zodiac season. While your real focus belongs on the growing edges in your Sun and Earth sign guides, this map lets you honor how you're being viewed in ways that may not match the deeper growth you're engaged in. Still, it's always nice to be seen or to feel you matter.

Notice how that shows up through the keywords on the seasonal charts. The quality of how these keywords get seen or experienced by others depends on your own development, as well as the lens each person uses to see and experience life.

Find your Sun Sign on the solar side and your Earth Sign on the Earth side of each season. They're seen and felt in the same range (if it's the 4th house on one side, it's the 4th house on the other).

You can also play with how the solar season becomes aware of your Earth, or matter (where your Earth falls in the Sun chart), and vice versa. This is more nuanced, but it can help you notice patterns in how others might consciously or subconsciously use you (or you, them) during a season—or how someone's overall Sun/Earth plays against your own—and bring awareness to how that extraction (especially around someone's Earth to the season, or another person's Sun) can be brought into better balance or compensated more fairly.
