The solar year’s cyclical growth map teaches us how to move into greater development and maturity.

After we let ourselves break down in winter, we can see that something different has been growing in us, which contributed to shedding. Once we realize this, we can assert ourselves in the world in a revived way in spring, exploring and discovering what has broken through. In summer, we find a deeper purpose and what we’ve truly been growing toward. Autumn brings an integration of our year with wisdom to share. Back at Winter’s summit, we reach and celebrate a new normal, while preparing to detach and shed once again. We find a greater spiritual understanding as something incubates within.

While development isn’t restricted to specific timelines like the solar year, this circular journey and seasons of unfolding give us a patterned framework to grow into ourselves anew each year.
