Libra | Virgo Season 2025
The Universal Overlay
Virgo Season | August 22 - September 22
Summer quickens toward its end. What’s ripe on the vine must be harvested, processed, stored—capturing the bounty of the year’s sun-kissed quarter.
In our modern lives, what’s metaphorically bearing fruit needs our attention. Children reach new levels of maturity. As they start a new grade, we send them off equipped with backpacks, fresh supplies, and our own quiet anxieties—have we prepared them well enough? We follow our favorite football teams, hoping their preparation was enough to bring home a win. We build fantasy teams with thoughtful strategy, but will they hold up? Work ramps up. The evenings glow with patio-worthy light. Life is in full motion, like a late-summer garden overflowing with growth.
Virgo Season is abundant, but it’s also edged with urgency, timing, and critical decisions. It asks: Are you ready for what’s next? Am I skilled enough to take on this new project? Do I have time to host a lively dinner? Are the kids’ carpools, tutors, and activities covered? Is someone else—like the single mom down the street—in need of help with rides? Even my morning yoga class just changed time and intensity. Can I adapt?
This season stretches us, revealing our priorities, systems, and capacities. It shows where we're living with thoughtfulness and generosity—and where our life systems are too tangled, running us instead of the other way around. Sometimes, we see we didn’t plant well—our garden yields little while others overflow.
Virgo Season brings a reckoning: What can we actually handle? What sustains our bodies and lives? What does a well-balanced ecosystem feel like?
As a Virgo myself, I know this intimately. I often make life so intricate it becomes hard to manage. In my 40s, I’m learning that my wellbeing thrives when I have fewer things to care about, but more to give to what I truly love. That often means living slower. My nervous system goes from zero to sixty too fast when I juggle too much. I prefer a gentler rhythm—one that lets me master a few things and savor my mundane rituals with care and skill. These rituals anchor me. They soothe my easily stirred nerves.
We’re all different, though. If you really listen, this season can show you what kind of creature you are. My husband is a collie dog. After several surgeries, I’ve seen how frustrated he gets when he’s not busy—it’s a fight to get him to rest. Me? I’m a cheetah. I need lots of rest and space. But when I’m ready to run, I want everything cleared so I can sprint after a singular goal. I’m still learning how to pattern a life that supports this rhythm. Virgo Season always tests me: Where did I plant responsibilities I no longer want? What processes take too much time with too little reward? What blind spots have I missed because I feel stuck or unproductive?
We change as we mature. Life around us changes too. That’s the gift of Virgo’s mutability. It knows how to tie things up and transform. I may be a cheetah, but my environment, my “hunt,” and my routines evolve with the seasons. Virgo helps us adapt—refining our ecosystems, renewing our purpose through daily ritual and process. It speaks through our health and our harvests. We only need to listen and adjust with discernment.
Ruled by Mercury, Virgo’s version of the mind is different than Gemini’s. Where Gemini is a jester and messenger, Virgo is an alchemist and problem-solver. It’s not the head brain—it’s the gut brain. Virgo teaches technique, practice, rhythm, and skill. Its wisdom comes from lived experience, honed instincts, and the refining fire of critique. It heals through precision and patience, trial and error. That’s why it speaks best through analogies and lived stories.
This year, with the South Node moving through Virgo, eclipse season brings even more refinement. Virgo will host two new moons—one on the second day of the season, the other, on the penultimate day, a solar eclipse. The first brings necessary edits, endings, and critical choices. The second, transitional reckoning. The lunar eclipse in Pisces on Spetember 7th, will pull us inward, ending something softer, more emotional.
Be ready for life to reorganize itself in a whirlwind—cutting what no longer serves, clarifying your purpose, and refining your path with the clean, calm hand of an inner editor.
How the Season Activates You
Your Dimensional Growth
Sun In The 12th House | Mystical Purpose
As the Sun moves through the signs and houses, it shines a light on a dimension of you. This helps you to become well-rounded and develop holistically.
Libra, as the world picks up speed with Virgo’s focus and refinement, your path asks something softer, stranger, and more invisible: the courage to slow down and go within. The Sun lights up the hidden corridors of your psyche now, and what glimmers there may be both beautiful and bittersweet.
This season, you are in the sacred twilight before your own solar rebirth. A liminal space of deep listening and soul retrieval.
This season isn’t about pushing forward—it’s about clearing the spiritual decks. You are making space for a new vision of yourself that will arrive when the Sun enters your sign. But for now, your task is subtler. You’re sorting through the echoes. You’re tending to soul fragments that need reintegration. You’re dreaming yourself back into wholeness.
The New Moon on August 23rd, kissed by the South Node, opens a quiet portal for spiritual release. You may feel called to let go of identities, patterns, or beliefs that have tethered you to a version of yourself that no longer resonates. Don’t fear the fog—this is where your inner compass sharpens. The more you yield, the clearer your path becomes. This is a moon for sacred unraveling.
As the Virgo eclipse arrives on September 21st, you may feel a moment of quiet clarity: a spiritual revelation, a soft ending, or the surfacing of something long hidden. Let it speak. Let it lead you inward. Trust that what you’re laying to rest now is making way for a radiant new chapter.
Solitude can be a sanctuary if you choose it consciously. Let your rituals be soft. Let your rest be holy. Listen to music that stirs something timeless in you. Tend your dreams like sacred scripture. This is not a season of loss—it’s a season of return. But first, the veil must thin.
You are not disappearing, Libra. You’re becoming whole behind the scenes.
The animating guide of The Season
Mercury in the 11th & 12th Houses | The Devoted Composer
Mercury is the ruling body of the season, the archetype of our alchemist and problem-solver. This aspect of ourselves will activate to respond to Virgo Season’s tone and circumstances, guide our actions, and give us a stance, or mythic script, in how we evolve, develop, engage life, and express.
Mercury, Virgo Season’s guide, begins its journey in your 11th house (Leo)—a house of social networks, visions, and community belonging. Then, on September 2nd, Mercury crosses a threshold into Virgo’s 12th house, and the season becomes about undoing, remembering, and reweaving yourself from the inside out.
“The Quiet Between the Notes”
As the Sun moves through Virgo, the sky draws a curtain around your soul, inviting you to retreat from the world’s noise and listen for the whisper beneath it all.
Mercury, too, follows this arc. From the celebratory conversations of Leo’s 11th house, it enters the sanctuary of your 12th house on September 2nd.
This house is the realm of:
Dreams and undoing
Ancestral memory and karmic patterns
Rest, retreat, and recovery
The quiet truths that can’t be spoken, only felt
Mercury here becomes the dream messenger, the spiritual scribe, the one who speaks in symbols and silence.
It asks you to:
Pay attention to what’s arising behind the scenes.
Listen more than you speak.
Record your dreams, your fears, your longings.
This is a season to:
Cleanse your inner world—not to be pure, but to be clear
Create quiet rituals that help you release mental clutter
Forgive yourself for what you’ve carried unconsciously
Let Mercury teach you the value of invisible healing.
Let your intuition take the lead.
Let yourself be led not by deadlines, but by divine timing.
This is not a time to push.
It’s a time to prepare the soil—for next season’s emergence.
Virgo Season asks: What if your silence was sacred?
Mercury replies: It is. And within it, you are remembering who you are.
Your Ground and Materialization of the Season
Earth in the 6th House | Lifestyle Depth
In tandem with dimensional growth in our solar season, Earth’s placement, directly opposite the Sun’s reach and exerting energy, shows the dimension of us that has become the fertile ground maturing underfoot. It’s normal to feel like our efforts in a solar season aren’t paying off, but they will, in time, when that sign becomes the Earth’s sign, the ground holding us, embodied and tangible. Look to the Earth sign to tend to what is maturing and growing in your roots and soul, that needs you to be receptive and caring.
Leo Sea
Your soul whispers instructions from behind the curtain in Virgo Season—
Sort, shed, prepare.
But Earth anchors in the small and sacred—the brushing of teeth, a simple yoga pose, the setting of the table.
Here, you are not hidden—you are healing.
The September 7th Lunar Eclipse shows you what devotion means when no one is watching.
Personal & Continuous aims
Your Radiant becoming
PHASE OF Libra’s YEARLY SEEDS | Transforming & Aiming
Separate from the Sun shining a light on our different dimensions through the signs and houses, we have another solar journey—a spiral journey of Conscious Evolution and Radiant Becoming—the path of illumination. I track this journey from your sign’s new moon to its next new moon, with a formula that’s a bit my own.
Your yearly seeds have an essence of renewal. It’s a year of purging and reinventing your relational core—how you trust others, the kinds of partnering that feel right, what commitment and fairness mean to you, and finding new vitality in your aesthetic drive.
At the start of Virgo Season, you're in the process of uprooting and uncovering aspects of your inner light that have long been buried—or perhaps never fully discovered. At the heart of what’s emerging may be power dynamics: how you share with others, and how others share with you. Are the feedback loops of sharing—financial, intimate, or emotional—creating mutual empowerment? Or are there places where energy is stuck or leaking? Follow the mysteries that call to you with their quiet allure. Digging beneath the surface in search of truth has the potential to transform not only you but also the world around you.
Around September 2nd, your yearly seeds begin a new phase of unfurling. You’re approaching the final stretch of your solar journey of becoming. Now is the time to pause and reflect on the full arc of your year—what’s been lived, learned, and outgrown. Let wisdom found in this retrospective give shape to your growth and aim it like an arrow toward something larger, more expansive. Something foreign, perhaps even uncomfortable, but deeply horizon-stretching. Aim high.
Your Archetypal Journey
Venus in the 11th House | envisioning The future
The planet that rules your sign gives you an archetype—a leading character flavor. This planet is a central part of how you show up and your personal agenda. We go on journeys in the skin of our archetypes, like leading characters in books and films. Your ruler, Venus, is the Heroine, the Reflective Lover, the Elegant Negotiator, and the Designer.
Venus: The Heroine/Your Ruler | Stage: Leaving the Waters | Sign: Leo | House: 11th | Aries 7th house-Themed Journey
“An Idealistic Leap”
When Venus, your ruling planet, entered Aries in March, something electric sparked in your 7th house. A relationship, a mirror, a longing stirred you into motion. It wasn’t a romance alone—it was the call of the heroine: a journey toward a deeper, more soul-rooted version of connection. This was the beginning of your mythic path—not to find love, but to become it.
For the majority of Virgo Season, Venus travels through Leo, lighting up your 11th house—the realm of community, future dreams, and cosmic belonging. Here, she steps into the “Leaving the Waters” phase of her journey. This is the departure from the soft, symbolic, deeply emotional world she has inhabited—the sacred feminine world of intuition, longing, and internal transformation.
Like The Little Mermaid’s Ariel stepping onto the shore, or Enchanted’s Giselle falling from her fairytale into New York’s chaos, the heroine arrives in a world not made for softness—but ready to be changed by it.
For you, Libra, this phase is charged with vision. The 11th house asks:
– How will you live your values beyond yourself?
– What kind of world does your heart want to help shape?
– Where does your beauty, tenderness, and truth belong?
But this isn’t just a philosophical moment. It’s an emotional risk.
To leave the waters is to take what you've found in the deep and offer it to the collective. To dare to be seen in public spaces, in friend groups, in social circles—not as a polished mask, but as the one who has felt deeply and survived it.
Venus in Leo asks you to let your desires glow. To speak your vision with pride. To walk into the world not with armor—but with radiant vulnerability. The heroine is no longer dreaming—she’s building bridges from dream to reality.
You may find yourself:
– Reimagining your role in community.
– Calling in new collaborators, soul kin, or allies.
– Sharing parts of your truth that once felt too strange or sacred.
You’re not here to belong by shrinking.
You’re here to shine your way into resonance.
This is just the beginning of your emergence.
You are bringing the myth to life—
not behind the scenes, but center stage.
