A Week of dissolving Constructs
February 16 - 22, 2026
Lunar-Solar Atmosphere | the New Moon Week of Aquarius/Pisces Season & The Solar Eclipse
This is one of the most, if not the most, chaotic weeks of the year. Not only are we having an eclipse (Aquarius Solar Eclipse, Tuesday, February 17, 5:03 am MT) with the new moon behind the north node, where the most complex boundaries reveal what's been illusory, but this is happening on the Aquarius/Pisces threshold, revealing the shadows of the signs with the greatest, most complex, and illusory boundaries. With the north node in Pisces over the past year, we've already seen this trend playing out. Still, this week, the pressure and dissolving energy on top of this node will expose more and require us to witness some of the most confusing and confounding things in the world, our local lives, and within ourselves.
There will be a back-and-forth lunar energy at the start of the week. Pressures and responsibilities will feel nebulous. Endings arrive that feel partially relieving, but that also invite uncertainty. This will alternate with moments of shattering old constructs and paradigms, and awakening to hidden lies and spells we've been blind to. By the end of the week, a couple of days into Pisces Season (which starts Wednesday morning, 8:52 am MT), the shadows of shadows will be out in the open so that we can understand the nebulous workings of the world and release any unaware allegiances to shadow realms.
As if this were not enough, the headline transit of the year arrives on Friday as Saturn and Neptune conjunct in the first degree of the zodiac, at 0° of Aries (Friday, February 20th | 9:52 am MT). Since last summer, these two planets have been in a tango, near each other at the end of the zodiac. When Saturn and Neptune started to cozy up, the Epstein Files gained tipping point traction and the public's demand to release them. When these two planets conjunct one another, about every 36 years, they tend to bring up secret societies and ephemeral elite structures. In Pisces, they've been focused on the most slippery of them.
Neptune dissolves, and Saturn builds. As they've moved together in Pisces, Neptune has had the upper hand, dissolving the most shadowed structures in existence. For these two planets to conjunct in the first degree of the zodiac is like a call to bulldoze the whole of our illusory structures and start from scratch. It's time to wake up to the spells of the systems that are built by keeping the masses blind to their own power. This is a wakeup call, showing each of us that we individually have choices about what we believe, how we allow our consciousness to feed those in authority, and to take back responsibility for building our belief structures and awareness constructs. This seed puts power in each individual's hands, awakening us to our own authority and independent dreams, not illusory dreams sold to us by those in power.
At the same time, this seed in Aries can cast a spell over spiritual crusades and militant authorities. Aries loves a new order; it loves to bulldoze what's falling apart for a clean slate. It loves unilateral, clear direction. We can choose to give our independent will to others who are hungry to take on responsibility for building a new dream, or we can keep personal responsibility and build independent, authentic dreams.
Last week, I linked to a longer article that covers some historical accounts of this transit. I will share the link again for those who haven't yet read it or want to re-read it. For some anchoring in this nebulous, confusing time, I highly suggest deepening your understanding of this new 36-year seeding point between Saturn and Neptune as they can dissolve whole worlds and dream totally different dreams: Highlights of Winter 2026 | Dawn Beyond the Wall

Journey With the Moon | Remember Who You Are
While moon phases help us tap into the ebb and flow of the solar season, the Moon—outside its ties to the Sun—has its own reflective cycle about somatic recognition. To tap more deeply into memory, feeling, and intuition—how we anchor an embodied knowing of the zodiac into us—head over to the current Lunar Journey (The Memoirist's Journey). We are in the last day of the Capricorn lunar journey, which began on January 18th. This has been a journey where memory and mood have waded through feelings about authority, patriarchy, structure, planning, and focus.
Our next lunar journey will be the Aquarius New Moon Journey (Tuesday, February 17 - March 17, 2026), processing and anchoring into our bodies feelings about hope, the future, and tensions between individual genius and collective good: New Moon Journeys (scroll down to the Aquarius New Moon).
Headline Transits
The main transits of the week are the Aquarius Solar Eclipse on Tuesday and Friday’s Saturn conjunct Neptune, detailed in the intro.

Mercury in Pisces trine Jupiter in Cancer
Mercury is in the midst of a Scorpio-themed journey, digging up hidden truths about power. We are currently testing the truths we've uncovered, asking if we trust ourselves and what's been found. Later in the week, some of the deepest revelations of our investigations will start to be witnessed, and in Pisces, what's uprooted will be complex and slippery.
We gain help from Jupiter, currently breaking free of old conditioning around perspective and conditioned beliefs. By the end of the week, not only will Jupiter be our season's guide, but it will also be in a phase of its own journey where mystical guidance aligns its questions and beliefs with synchronistic and inspired threads.
With these two planets in an approaching trine this week, expect deep understandings to be found through a willingness to suspend belief and use a heart-led perspective to understand information being revealed. Revelations could help us connect with purpose in what knowledge is for or how we use or seek knowledge.

Venus in Pisces trine Jupiter in Cancer
Venus is in the midst of an Aries-themed journey, asking us to own the fierce, bold independence of our voice and values. Self-possessed is the tone our voice is coming into. In Pisces, this Venus journey takes us into a time of integration, where we must walk through our shadows to truly own and rise in our self-possession. To be truly fierce and unafraid to speak our most personal truths and desires, we need to see ourselves and the world in its most complex, shadowed state. In another view, we need to trust ourselves completely when we feel compelled to speak up in slippery territory. To do so will help us to elevate into a more divine version of ourselves.
Jupiter, same as in the Mercury trine, is in a liberation phase until mid-week when it then finds deeper, mystical understandings. As Jupiter sends some help toward Venus this week, we will find a rhythm and skill in how we are valuing and honoring our beliefs. Our emboldened Venus archetype finds its divinity at the same time as it finds skillful instincts with voicing its beliefs.
I've noticed a trend of Jupiter on its Cancer-themed journey, exploring the philosophies of matriarchies. Now, with some Venus power plugging in, we may see a strong swell of voices calling for this to have more attention, value, and serious discussion. It's not just a whimsical idea. It contains solid principles that could lead to societies that are more caring, equitable, and flourishing.
