Sagittarius | Gemini Season 2025

The Universal Overlay

Gemini Season | May 20 - June 20

The end of spring in the astrological calendar arrives with Gemini Season. It contains mutable energy to tie up loose ends. It taps into dynamism to find solutions and variety to generate possibility. It is an air sign, adding the energy of mind, tension, speed, and lightness. In short, it's a season to tie up the self-oriented agenda of spring, of figuring out what we want, why, and how to get it. Pollination occurs as we jet around to see what others are doing and bounce ideas off each other. We notice where we currently do and don't fit—we can feel a resonance through what we identify with or not and what seems to invite us in or not.

Move around and find resonant minds, peers, and communities. Find where you fit naturally. Let this help inform what currently feels authentic in you. Generate ideas with others. Bounce possibilities around, experiment, and try things without committing. Notice colors that express out of you—threads of light connecting you with others and harmonizing inner tensions. Stay flexible this season. Don't beat yourself up if you aren't the brightest mind in the room or feel people aren't interested in you. Be observant and recognize when your mind lights up the minds of others and vice versa. Seek resonant minds—those who think about similar things and in similar ways.

Where Gemini is in our chart indicates where we can get wrapped up in pointing fingers, entrenched in confirmation bias silos. This isn't necessarily done as a way to blame-shift. Instead, it stems from Gemini’s intelligence, which allows us to comprehend the intricate workings of the world. We observe the detailed effects of external factors on ourselves and our surroundings. The instinct can arise to cancel, name call, channel our inner mean girl, and judge (there's a bit of a teenage spirit this season). While it’s tempting to point fingers at potentially true or even necessary matters, it doesn't help us to mature. I’m not suggesting you completely avoid this behavior (I do it myself). However, be mindful of when you become bogged down in petty gossip or rely too much on external validation (hello The substance). Notice when you've become distracted around accountability for your personal growth and goals.

In summary, stay light and non-commital. Flirt with life, and try on different ways, people, and communities. Find your social resonance and a clearer sense of identity. Push your mind, learn new things, ask questions, and stay curious. Most of all, have fun. Find where and with whom you have a lighthearted good time and say yes to more of it. Be flexible, open-minded, and engage in kind self-speak as you iron out inner tensions.

How the Season Activates You

Your Dimensional Growth

Sun In 7th House | blossoming commitments

As the Sun moves through the signs and houses, it shines a light on a dimension of you. This helps you to become well-rounded and develop holistically.

The vibrant Sun of late spring graces your relational 7th house as we welcome Gemini Season. With wit, lightheartedness, and curiosity, your interactions, exchanges, and trust-building with significant others—be it a best friend, spouse, or business partner—become more delightful.

This season, cherish moments with your important people. Gemini season is filled with butterflies and blossoms, color and expression. Discover a charming, lively patio for a romantic date night. Organize a social gathering with business partners or treat a friend to a lighthearted dinner you’ve been eager to enjoy together.

The 7th house also governs relational tensions and equality issues. Gemini’s tendency to be overly intellectual can sometimes lead to disputes. If you encounter conflicts, try to lighten the mood and ease Gemini-like blame-game tensions with gentle communication (it’s probable that loving communication is the key to resolving many of your tensions).

Aesthetic appreciation is highlighted in your 7th house. With Gemini’s love for blossoms and color, consider getting that fun wallpaper you’ve been admiring for a year or redoing a logo or website design to make it more captivating. Adorn your hair with flowers, drape string lights over your patio, and embrace the delightful changes in your relational and aesthetic realms.

Last year’s Gemini New Moon seeds likely sparked fresh perspectives in your relationships, encouraging you to embrace change in the past year. As we reflect on those beginnings, observe how new paths are forming in your partnerships or relational pursuits.

This year’s Gemini New Moon on May 26th (9:02 pm MT) continues to nurture opportunities for new partnerships or evolving qualities within existing ones. Approach your relationships with passion and clarity. Embrace vibrant design ideas and renew your goals and intentions for what you desire in your relationships and partnerships.

The animating guide of The Season

MErcury in 6th, 7th & 8th Houses | mental mirroring

Mercury is the ruling body of the season, the archetype of our messenger and trickster. This aspect of ourselves will activate to respond to Gemini Season’s tone and circumstances, guide our actions, and give us a stance, or mythic script, in how we evolve, develop, engage life, and express.

Mercury, the winged god of Gemini Season, is like a productivity ninja, starting its journey in your 6th house. In Taurus, it’s all about turning your daily grind into a gourmet feast, where your voice or beauty is the main course, and long walks in nature are the dessert. Your 7th house ruler is like a matchmaker for your work and lifestyle, ensuring everything is in perfect harmony and fairness.

On May 25th, Mercury will team up with the Sun in your Gemini 7th house, making you the zodiac’s belle of the ball. It’s time to generate ideas and possibilities, and maybe even a few dance moves, while tuning the harmony of the minds you dance with.

Mirror with others around intellect—reflect their thoughts back to them like a cosmic parrot, and watch as your own ideas and mindset are reflected back to you. This will help you see your connective relational quality more clearly or at least give you a new perspective on your social circle!

On May 29/30, Mercury decides to play hide-and-seek with the Sun, giving you the perfect excuse to let your intuition take the wheel and your mind wander a bit. It’s like a cosmic spa day for your connective fibers, where less friction means more time to dream and resonate with those who make your soul sing.

Fast forward to June 8th, and Mercury is on the move again, this time to your Cancer-ruled 8th house. It’s like a curious panther strolling into your date, stirring up relational curiosity, and nudging you towards more intimate entanglements. Communication becomes a game of chess, requiring precision and strategy. Be ready to navigate any powerful mergers or energy exchanges with the grace of a security-conscious swan.

Your Ground and Materialization of the Season

Earth in 1st House | optimistic self-soothing

In tandem with dimensional growth in our solar season, Earth’s placement, directly opposite the Sun’s reach and exerting energy, shows the dimension of us that has become the fertile ground maturing underfoot. It’s normal to feel like our efforts in a solar season aren’t paying off, but they will, in time, when that sign becomes the Earth’s sign, the ground holding us, embodied and tangible. Look to the Earth sign to tend to what is maturing and growing in your roots and soul, that needs you to be receptive and caring.

The Earth transits the opposite sign of the Sun, providing fertile energy for us to ground ourselves and soothe our nervous systems from the exertions of the solar energy.

During this season, the Earth is in your sign of Sagittarius; your centering, sense of Self, and personal desires create a nurturing environment for you. There’s vulnerability and inward seeking, but also rich soil to nourish your growth.

When you need soothing, carve out some alone time. Engage in physical activities to sweat out toxins. Spring cleaning can help you feel clearer and centered. These practices aren’t mandatory, but rather tools to lean on when they feel right.

Above all, trust your intuitive impulses, the care you want to give to yourself, and the needs that feel fundamental to your core passions—narrative, culture, beliefs, and perspective.

Around the Sagittarius Full Moon on June 11th, take some time to reflect inward. Engage in daydreaming and journaling about how your lively relational side, coupled with your visionary impulses, creates a nurturing environment that supports each other throughout the year.

Personal & Continuous aims

Your Radiant becoming

PHASE OF Sagittarius’ YEARLY SEEDS | Informing & Imagining

Separate from the Sun shining a light on our different dimensions through the signs and houses, we have another solar journey—a spiral journey of Conscious Evolution and Radiant Becoming—the path of illumination. I track this journey from your sign’s new moon to its next new moon, with a formula that’s a bit my own.

Plunging into the season, your yearly Sagittarius seeds are restless, seeking connections and knowledge, wandering aimlessly in search of the fleeting beauty of blossoming flowers. These seeds carry the weight of a new chapter, yet clarity and passion for grand ambitions remain elusive after years of shadows. Move, socialize, read, attend a workshop, and seek information. Something unfamiliar is bubbling up.

By May 29th, a shift inward will commence as you begin to sift through the possibilities for a new chapter, discarding the dead ends. Allow your mind to drift into daydreams, relax, and release the mental tension of the previous phase. In this realm of imagination, you will be drawn to the path that offers the right soil, the right depth and aligns with your soul and intuition. Trust your instincts about the new trajectory you wish to forge, even if it feels irrational or topsy-turvy.

Your Archetypal Journey

jupiter in 7th & 8th houses | expansion of imaginative potency

The planet that rules your sign gives you an archetype—a leading character flavor. This planet is a central part of how you show up and your personal agenda. We go on journeys in the skin of our archetypes, like leading characters in books and films. Your ruler, Jupiter, is the Sage, the Mentor, the Pilgrim, and the Seeker.

Beyond the solar season’s grasp, your planetary ruler can shed light on the mysterious unfolding of your central and enduring narrative.

Jupiter, having lingered in your 7th house of vibrant relationships and captivating aesthetics for nearly a year, is poised to enter a new, enigmatic chapter. On June 9th, Jupiter will shift into your 8th house, the realm of power dynamics and transformative experiences, where it will be exalted in its favored sign of Cancer.

Cancer provides stable and fertile ground for Jupiter’s grand schemes. In the 8th house, you may harness your imagination in strategic, mysterious ways, expanding your power. It’s time to walk your talk—write that fiction book, get a manager, and get published. No more sitting on the potency of your soulful depths. Tie up loose ends in relational communications that still need to be harmonized. End your Jupiter in Gemini chapter by expanding your relationships with positive, witty communication.

Jupiter’s year-long transit to your Cancer 8th house beckons you to delve into the hidden realms of your soul. Beyond the house or sign that Jupiter is in, it is in a connective mood in its synodic journey. Explore the enigmatic corners of your being. Capture the fleeting, whimsical thoughts that dance in the twilight of your consciousness.  Write down all the whimsical notions that ebb and flow from your inner world. A spellbinding transformation is beginning to unfold.
