Pisces | Virgo Season 2025

The Universal Overlay

Virgo Season | August 22 - September 22

Summer quickens toward its end. What’s ripe on the vine must be harvested, processed, stored—capturing the bounty of the year’s sun-kissed quarter.

In our modern lives, what’s metaphorically bearing fruit needs our attention. Children reach new levels of maturity. As they start a new grade, we send them off equipped with backpacks, fresh supplies, and our own quiet anxieties—have we prepared them well enough? We follow our favorite football teams, hoping their preparation was enough to bring home a win. We build fantasy teams with thoughtful strategy, but will they hold up? Work ramps up. The evenings glow with patio-worthy light. Life is in full motion, like a late-summer garden overflowing with growth.

Virgo Season is abundant, but it’s also edged with urgency, timing, and critical decisions. It asks: Are you ready for what’s next? Am I skilled enough to take on this new project? Do I have time to host a lively dinner? Are the kids’ carpools, tutors, and activities covered? Is someone else—like the single mom down the street—in need of help with rides? Even my morning yoga class just changed time and intensity. Can I adapt?

This season stretches us, revealing our priorities, systems, and capacities. It shows where we're living with thoughtfulness and generosity—and where our life systems are too tangled, running us instead of the other way around. Sometimes, we see we didn’t plant well—our garden yields little while others overflow.

Virgo Season brings a reckoning: What can we actually handle? What sustains our bodies and lives? What does a well-balanced ecosystem feel like?

As a Virgo myself, I know this intimately. I often make life so intricate it becomes hard to manage. In my 40s, I’m learning that my wellbeing thrives when I have fewer things to care about, but more to give to what I truly love. That often means living slower. My nervous system goes from zero to sixty too fast when I juggle too much. I prefer a gentler rhythm—one that lets me master a few things and savor my mundane rituals with care and skill. These rituals anchor me. They soothe my easily stirred nerves.

We’re all different, though. If you really listen, this season can show you what kind of creature you are. My husband is a collie dog. After several surgeries, I’ve seen how frustrated he gets when he’s not busy—it’s a fight to get him to rest. Me? I’m a cheetah. I need lots of rest and space. But when I’m ready to run, I want everything cleared so I can sprint after a singular goal. I’m still learning how to pattern a life that supports this rhythm. Virgo Season always tests me: Where did I plant responsibilities I no longer want? What processes take too much time with too little reward? What blind spots have I missed because I feel stuck or unproductive?

We change as we mature. Life around us changes too. That’s the gift of Virgo’s mutability. It knows how to tie things up and transform. I may be a cheetah, but my environment, my “hunt,” and my routines evolve with the seasons. Virgo helps us adapt—refining our ecosystems, renewing our purpose through daily ritual and process. It speaks through our health and our harvests. We only need to listen and adjust with discernment.

Ruled by Mercury, Virgo’s version of the mind is different than Gemini’s. Where Gemini is a jester and messenger, Virgo is an alchemist and problem-solver. It’s not the head brain—it’s the gut brain. Virgo teaches technique, practice, rhythm, and skill. Its wisdom comes from lived experience, honed instincts, and the refining fire of critique. It heals through precision and patience, trial and error. That’s why it speaks best through analogies and lived stories.

This year, with the South Node moving through Virgo, eclipse season brings even more refinement. Virgo will host two new moons—one on the second day of the season, the other, on the penultimate day, a solar eclipse. The first brings necessary edits, endings, and critical choices. The second, transitional reckoning. The lunar eclipse in Pisces on Spetember 7th, will pull us inward, ending something softer, more emotional.

Be ready for life to reorganize itself in a whirlwind—cutting what no longer serves, clarifying your purpose, and refining your path with the clean, calm hand of an inner editor.

How the Season Activates You

Your Dimensional Growth

sun In The 7th House | Sacred Mirroring

As the Sun moves through the signs and houses, it shines a light on a dimension of you. This helps you to become well-rounded and develop holistically.

Pisces, Virgo Season is your invitation to remember that partnership is a path, not a destination. The Sun now casts its golden light across the part of your chart that rules the other—those who challenge you, love you, disappoint you, elevate you, and reflect you back to yourself in unexpected ways. This season sharpens the mirror and asks you to gaze more closely. This is where you come face to face with the other—so you can more fully see yourself.

While your waters tend to blur boundaries and lean toward merging, Virgo offers discernment. Precision. This isn’t to sever connection, but to refine it. The relationships that matter most are being offered a solar spotlight—so that imbalances can be named, so that needs can be honored, so that the space between you and another becomes clearer and more sacred.

The first Virgo New Moon on August 23rd, arriving near the South Node, asks you to let go of outdated relational patterns—perhaps the martyrdom, the over-giving, the self-erasure in the name of harmony. You're not being asked to harden, but to clarify. This is a recalibration of what mutual devotion looks like.

Later in the season, on September 21st, the Virgo solar eclipse begins a deeper metamorphosis in how you relate and are related to. Some relationships may shift shape, or even fall away. Others may strengthen through a new kind of honesty. Let the transitions come. They are part of the sacred choreography of your path.

Let this season be a study in reciprocity. How do you show up when you’re truly seen? How do you love when the fog lifts and flaws are laid bare? This is where the real beauty lives—not in fantasy, but in the fertile ground of real, imperfect devotion.

You are not here to lose yourself in another. You are here to love from a place of wholeness.

The animating guide of The Season

MErcury in the 6th & 7th Houses | The Devoted Harmonizer

Mercury is the ruling body of the season, the archetype of our alchemist and problem-solver. This aspect of ourselves will activate to respond to Virgo Season’s tone and circumstances, guide our actions, and give us a stance, or mythic script, in how we evolve, develop, engage life, and express.

Mercury, the guide of this season, begins in your 6th house (Leo), where it’s been helping you sort through your daily habits and responsibilities. Then, on September 2nd, it enters Virgo and your 7th house, becoming a translator between hearts and a sacred editor of your relational patterns.

“The Art of Honest Connection”

As the Sun journeys through Virgo, your relationships become the curriculum. This is not about losing yourself in another—but about learning who you are through the reflection of another’s truth.

Mercury begins Virgo Season in Leo’s 6th house, where it’s been helping you bring order to your inner systems and external commitments. But once it crosses into your 7th house on September 2nd, Mercury becomes the relational alchemist, guiding you to communicate with care, curiosity, and discernment.

This season asks you to:

  • Revisit your agreements and expectations in partnership.

  • Speak clearly where there’s been confusion or over-accommodation.

  • Explore the difference between pleasing and truly connecting.

Mercury here brings:

  • Honest conversations with partners, past or present.

  • Mental clarity about the kind of relationship you’re truly ready for.

  • Invitations to listen more deeply, and express your needs more precisely.

Let Mercury teach you that love is not vague.
It can be poetic and precise. Boundaried and open.

This is a season for refining how you relate, not to diminish intimacy, but to deepen it—with truth as the bridge.

Virgo Season asks: How can your relationships become clearer, cleaner, and more conscious?
Mercury replies: By letting your voice be a mirror and your listening a gift.

Your Ground and Materialization of the Season

Earth in the 1st House | Ethereal Centering

In tandem with dimensional growth in our solar season, Earth’s placement, directly opposite the Sun’s reach and exerting energy, shows the dimension of us that has become the fertile ground maturing underfoot. It’s normal to feel like our efforts in a solar season aren’t paying off, but they will, in time, when that sign becomes the Earth’s sign, the ground holding us, embodied and tangible. Look to the Earth sign to tend to what is maturing and growing in your roots and soul, that needs you to be receptive and caring.

With Earth in Pisces this season, something cosmic is maturing. Our ethereal dreams are underfoot, like walking on the ocean or a floor of mist. Dreams are starting to deepen and need our care, our soulful intuition. Compassion needs our depths to align with inspiration and surrender. We process and stabilize the magic of the heart.

The world is asking for your yes, your presence, your precision in love this Virgo Season.
But Earth in your sign is a lullaby to the nervous system.
Come home to yourself—not the idea of you, but the breathing, dreaming being you are.
The September 7th Lunar Eclipse is a mirror in moonlight.
Watch who you become when you stop trying.

Personal & Continuous aims

Your Radiant becoming

PHASE OF Pisces’ YEARLY SEEDS | Informing & Deepening

Separate from the Sun shining a light on our different dimensions through the signs and houses, we have another solar journey—a spiral journey of Conscious Evolution and Radiant Becoming—the path of illumination. I track this journey from your sign’s new moon to its next new moon, with a formula that’s a bit my own.

Your seeds this year are embedded with a return to your natural state of surrender. As you clear out the closet of a past chapter of life, you release the weight and overlays that have stood in the way of trusting the universe to steer your course with magic, open-heartedness, and faith in the flow of life. Your passion, aligned with this kind of trust, will naturally lead you toward more lit-up directions. You are releasing ego, expectations, and resistance in order to find your true north this year.

At the start of the season, your yearly seeds of becoming are in a phase of learning, gathering information, and making new connections. It’s your time to follow the sweet nectar toward possibility. Don’t worry yet about whether any one thing will bear fruit. Right now, it’s about meandering and exploring the pathways your light might travel. Let your light stay free; don’t commit it to any one thing just yet.

Around September 1st, your light may crave retreat from the overwhelm of spinning options. It’s time to deepen your light inwardly—to tend to it, and to notice what nourishes and stabilizes it. With a little daydreaming, the mental tensions subside, and you begin to hear the dreams carried by your inner light. The right, soul-aligned path quietly reveals itself. Follow what feeds your heart.

Your Archetypal Journey

jupiter in The 5th house | The Truth of Joy

The planet that rules your sign gives you an archetype—a leading character flavor. This planet is a central part of how you show up and your personal agenda. We go on journeys in the skin of our archetypes, like leading characters in books and films. Your ruler, Jupiter, the Spiritual Guide, the Poet-Saint, the Dreamer, and the Mystic.

Jupiter: The Spiritual Guide/Your Ruler | Stage: Revelation → Teaching | Sign: Cancer | House: 5th | Gemini 4th House-Themed Journey

“Fire Beneath the Water”

It began in your Gemini 4th house,
when Jupiter dropped a question like a stone into your emotional depths:
What story have you inherited, and what are you finally ready to rewrite?

There, in the quiet of winter’s end,
you began rethinking your roots —
the voices you internalized,
the meanings you gave to “home,”
the rooms in your soul still haunted by unmet needs.

Now, in Virgo Season, Jupiter blooms into your Cancerian 5th house
and something astonishing happens:

The grief you’ve named becomes a radiant source of art, joy, and play.

This is the Revelation phase,
but instead of philosophical insight, you receive a more intimate truth:
Your joy is sacred. Your creativity is survival. Your heart is a compass.

Jupiter in the 5th doesn’t teach from the pulpit —
it teaches through laughter, song, pleasure, and presence.
The soul’s wisdom lives in the gesture, the color, the poem, the dance.
What was once heavy in your chest now finds its way into your hands.

This is not naive bliss.
It’s earned joy — the kind that only comes after diving to the bottom.

As the season matures, you shift into the Teaching phase.
Here, Jupiter asks:
How will you share this light?
What truth have you found in your joy that others need to remember?

You are becoming a teacher of permission.
A bard of the unsilenced heart.
A guardian of play in a world too afraid to feel free.

Don’t wait for mastery.
Let your expression be raw, imperfect, honest.
That is the most Piscean gift you can give:
the reminder that beauty is not in control — it is in release.

🜁 Mantras for Virgo Season:

Revelation Phase:
“I reclaim joy as sacred. I create from the place I once grieved.”

Teaching Phase:
“My light is not performance — it is medicine. I teach by being fully alive.”
