Aries | Libra Season 2025
The Universal Overlay
Libra Season | September 22 - October 22
An exhale arrives, partially filled with greif and partially with releif. As we return to equal day and night, with night and the dark feminine overcoimng the light yang energy, we move toward a more communal apprach to life, cooperative and relational. We notice how we affect otheres, how they affect us, and how everything is in relation to everything else. An aesthetic quality unfurls here, as does a karmic one.
This season, we face what we began in the self-oriented spring. Life is seen with context rather than pure impulse. Because of this, we find ourselves needing to take accountability for the past, or ask it of others. Libra calls us to restore blance, fairness, and harmony, but this often requires desconstructing and reckoning with past insensitivity. On the surface, the season can feel destabalizing, yet in truth it carries a transitional energy. It asks us to accept where we've landed after spring and summer's growth, to negotiate fairness, and listen with heart for what is resonant and trustworthy.
As the days begin to shorten, we may experience the Sun's recession as either sadness or elation. Those with a more feminine orientation often welcome the easing of solar pressure, as it invites reflection, dreaming, and inner depth. Those witha more concrete or yang yang orietation may feel fear heighten, as though the world is closing in on their active desires. Where do you fall? Perhaps you are blanced, and the equinox seasons bring you the best of both worlds—a melding of inner and outer harmony. I find that this equal night and day brings a kind of great compromise, with most people fiding their yin or yang dominance gently appeased by the season's balance.
Seek agreements with others. Invite balance in your life and harmony in the air. Find common ground, cultivate empathy, and build bridges of trust. Engage in deep conversations, commitments, and gracious exchanges. Most of all, listen to the season. Its whispers are subtle, but they reveal your elegance.
Your Seasonal Theatre
SUN IN The 7th HOUSE | Earth in the 1st House
Developing Trust
As the Sun and Earth move through the signs and houses, they trace an axis of reach and depth within you, guiding your growth toward a fuller, more balanced expression. Each season, the yearly new moon seeds of your sign move through their own phases of growth, anchoring the time with added depth and texture. At the same time, the season itself casts its own lens, shaping how others perceive you and layering new dimensions into the unfolding of your story. Together, these threads weave the central theme of your season’s tale.
At the heart of it all, the ruling planet of the season steps forward as the protagonist. The house it inhabits reveals the setting, while the sign colors the quality and tone of the action. In this way, the scene of your story takes shape. Woven together, these elements create the living theatre of your season.
The Theme
This season is a story of reflection. With the Sun illuminating your seventh house, the mirror of relationship is placed directly before you. The call is to create resonance through partnership, balance, and the beauty of shared space. At the same time, the way your Aries nature is seen through Libra’s seventh house reflects you back to yourself—you appear relational, approachable, and committed. Others recognize you not for your independence, but for your willingness to meet them halfway.
Beneath this, your yearly seeds are entering a phase of maturation, asking you to deepen your roots, stand on your own ground, and bring more substance to what you share. The urge is not to rush forward, but to align inwardly, so that the bonds you form are built on steadiness rather than spark alone. Reflection becomes the gateway to true resonance: inner alignment shaping outer connection.
The Scenes
Enter Venus, the ruler of Libra and the season’s guiding muse.
At the start of the story, she moves through your sixth house in Virgo. Here, the setting is one of rhythm, purpose, and craft. The mood is grounded in daily patterns, refinement, and the small, steady gestures that make partnership sustainable. This scene is about tending the work of relationship—through devotion, through detail, through the art of showing up with care.
On October 13th, Venus steps into your seventh house of Libra. The scene shifts into a chamber of elegance, diplomacy, and shared design. Now the focus is less on work and more on the beauty of the bond itself—the aesthetics of harmony, the art of reciprocity, the grace of fairness. Here, you’re not just maintaining relationship, but celebrating it, shaping it into something both balanced and luminous.
Integration
The season’s theme of reflection threads through both acts. First, you refine the ground of partnership through daily effort and purposeful rhythm. Then, you step into the deeper beauty of connection, where resonance with others is not only mirrored back but also matured within you. By aligning inwardly, you stabilize outwardly—discovering that commitment, when born from reflection, is not a constraint but a form of freedom.
Lyrical Summary
Mirror of balance, held to your flame,
You see yourself in the eyes of another.
Work steadies the bond, polish refines the form,
Until Venus shifts the stage—
And what was labor becomes grace.
Partnership blooms as an art,
A freedom born not from standing alone,
But from choosing to stand together.

Your Archetypal Journey
Mars in the 8th House | Navigating the Underworld
The planet that rules your sign gives you an archetype—a leading character flavor. This planet is a central part of how you show up and your personal agenda. We go on journeys in the skin of our archetypes, like leading characters in books and films. Your ruler, Mars, is the Solar Hero, the Warrior, the Protector, and the Emperor.
While the planet ruling the season may step into the spotlight, it only holds center stage for that particular season. In contrast, your ruling planet is always active in your story—sometimes as the main character, other times as a subplot or supporting role. I like to follow its journey, much like a hero’s or heroine’s path, by tracing its synodic cycle in relation to Earth.
Mars: The Hero | Stages: Meeting with the Goddess → Atonement | Sign: Scorpio | House: 8th | Cancer-Themed Quest
Back in January, the seed of this Mars journey was planted in your 4th house of Cancer—a hearth of memory, roots, and emotional anchoring. The call was to find strength not just in fire, but in tenderness, not just in battle, but in belonging.
Now, in Libra Season, Mars travels your 8th house of Scorpio, carrying you through the Meeting with the Goddess. Here the hero is met with both allure and danger. Temptation arises—the pull of desire, power, or intimacy that could consume as easily as it could awaken. The Goddess tests you, asking: will you grasp for control, or surrender to transformation? This encounter reveals that true courage is not found in domination, but in the ability to open, to trust, and to be changed by what you cannot control.
On October 13th, Mars crosses into the stage of Atonement, where the hero must reconcile with their shadow and integrate what has been learned. The temptations faced, the passions stirred, and the vulnerabilities exposed now become part of your strength. This is where you embody the power of the warrior who knows how to root, how to merge, and how to rise renewed.
