Sees through rose-colored glasses. Everything seems great. Might be small gripes, but not seeing the bigger issues (either hidden or unable to see, or willfully, or nobody is aware of a looking horizon).
Death of Innocence - Capricorn
The entrance of trauma into the world of the heroine (if trauma is too great, will need a hero’s journey before she can go on this one). Spiritually awaken to there being more to life than basic existence has led her to believe.
Denial of the broken glass - Aquarius
Dangerous place to be. Once rose-colored glasses are broken, you can never put them on again, unless playing pretend, you never saw what you saw. If you refuse to leave, you will mirror hop to the hero’s journey and the road of trials, where all old allies become her antagonists.
Faery Godmother - Pisces
Can be benign, good, or evil. May have intentions of their own. Can be an ongoing teacher/guide or a one-time appearance. Might be what removes roes colored glasses or provides a door to masculine that is required. Has some kind of magic to share or sell to the heroine.
Leaving the Waters - between Pisces/Aries
Must leave depths to come to the boundary of the ordinary world. Can slip back and forth at will. Might be forced to do this if has been repressed or oppressed. ties to break and emotional programming to hack for her to live freely in both worlds. Can choose to stay in the waters but might have regrets and wish taken risk. but won’t discover potential without taking steps onto shore.
The Dark Forest - Aries
wildness and unknown wild creatures she is unfamiliar with. The ordinary world is beyond her understanding. Might have to get a job and take care of her daily needs.
Fair Maiden/Chosen One - Taurus
Inner heroine is seeking an identity, looking for purpose—a reason she chose or was forced to leave the waters. Finding a passion or career to create an identity with. Symbolic of teen pregnancy (a mother long before mature enough for task), or her purpose has been thrust upon her, with others expecting something miraculous for her and doesn’t know how to be the savior others are looking up to. Can result in declaring ‘this is who I am, from now until forever’, permanently identifying with what she does. Or, stuck in this loop and becomes masculine and needs to go on Hero’s journey to recover lost feminine.
Meeting the Beast - Gemini
Meets match that in unlovely or deeply flawed. Might be able to tame or see beyond physical appearance with enough patience. Or could be an alternate/dark version of heroine if had more trauma in life. Might have more than one head - form of multiple people.
Standing on the Shoreline - Gemini/Cancer threshold
wants to go back to the sea and not deal with the struggles of the body. may want to throw herself off a cliff and into the waves below. Or, she might try to lure others out of the water onto shore w/her to show how repressed/oppressed they are. But must recognize she has a higher calling that isn’t based on external factors and what she does is the world. Her identity is inside of her. To enter the oneness of being, she must press forward.
Overcoming Stepmother - Cancer
has to learn to say no and separate from things that use up her energy and harm her. Has to set boundaries. Overcome and no longer tolerate negative treatment.
Transformation of the Beast - Leo
Something ugly is turned into something beautiful. Discovers what she loves about the masculine or ordinary world and what will stay in that world for. Understands the power she weilds and her abilities and talents are apparent for all to see.
Pregnancy - Virgo
Symbolically - Growth and birthing of ideas and how to live in the ordinary world. Reason needed to take the journey. Because only the feminine can become pregnant and create something new.
The Housewife - Virgo as well
Happily ever after, a happy place, and where she feels she can fulfill her purpose. But there is still a higher place to go and a higher self to achieve. Can get stuck here and forget all dreams and visions once had. The housewife can become all-consuming and become a devouring mother. Must live consciously here to avoid becoming possessed by that archetype.
The Call from Home - Virgo/Libra threshold
father or mother is dying. time to return home and walk the depths of grief.
Challenge of the Throne - Libra
A Legacy left behind by the father or mother. Must let it go or pick up the sceptor and take the throne. Often will have to fight for the throne. All she’s learned in the masculine world will have prepared her for the moment. Might be what she was born to do, but had to go on won journey of discovery before ready to take the throne.
Sacrifice - Scorpio
Burden of femininity in general. Will have to sacrifice things or people to get it. May not be permanent and may be worthwhile, but the pain at the time will be no less. Waking up in water - symbol of spirit.
The Empath/The Business Woman - Scorpio
Has reached a major milestone. Can use feminine and masculine with w/equal proficiency. Power for good and force to recon with. Masculine figures respect her greatly and feminine figures love her deeply.
The Balanced World - Sagittarius
Can now plunge the depths of the feminine and traverse the dark forest of the masculine at will (almost at ease). May gravitate toward one or the other but never caught or possessed by either.
Permission of Happiness - Sagittarius toward a Perfect World
No longer needs others to be where she is. Can accept her happiness even if others are not happy - accepts their unhappiness as part of their journey. and that she is at her best when she allows herself to be happy. Can alleviate suffering to an extent but only to the extent that it doesn’t harm another’s development.
